Version 0.9 brings several redesigned and remade features. At this point, I can almost say that I've succeeded in making a basic platformer engine for people to use as a learning tool. But that's not the end goal this whole time. I don't just want to make a Game Maker source file for people to use; I want to make a game that brings me back to my roots: Wholesome and challenging fun. I want to make a game that combines my old and new style for me to improve. I want to learn how to get better at what I love to do. This isn't just for everyone; this is for myself, too.
Anyway, here are the features included in Version 0.9!
- Mistitled Playhouse 10 fixed.
- Enemy falling remade.
- Bikko's wall collision remade.
- Game Over text redesigned
- Tutorial redesigned
- Added "Clear FX"
- Added "Ready FX"
- Highscore screen redesigned.
- Added Transitions.
- Menu is more animated
- Added text containing controls for menu.
- Quick Exit with (ESC), remade.
I hope that we all get to play the full version of the game, and it's nearby. I can feel it.
